What are Harbingers?

Harbingers are the leaders of the game and are the figureheads for their teams. They are the ones who lead their teams to victory throughout the week and they can answer any questions you may have. They have the ultimate authority when it comes to making judgement calls and they can also settle disputes between players.

Finding Harbingers

Harbingers can be messaged on Discord by using @Harbinger. They will be introduced to you during orientation and will deliver the briefing at the Night Mission. If you need to talk to a Harbinger in person, a mod can track them down for you.

Human Harbinger

The Human Harbinger is the leader of the Humans. When playing, they can do everything a Human can do. In order to maintain their role throughout the game they cannot be turned into a Zombie, when tagged they are stunned.

Once the Human Harbinger has been stunned they will respawn, just as Zombies do, at the next respawn time.

Zombie Harbinger

The Zombie Harbinger is the leader of the Zombies. They can tag and "turn" Humans just like any other Zombie can. The Zombie Harbinger is beneficial for the Zombie team because they are an experienced player who is familiar with the game, campus layout, and with Zombie tactics.

Once the Zombie Harbinger has been stunned, they respawn at the next respawn time.

Moderator Harbinger

The Mod Harbinger can be a member of either team, and might switch between them throughout the week. They are the head of the Mods and ultimate arbiter of rules. During the game they make sure everything runs smoothly for all players. A good game is impossible without the guidance of the Mod Harbinger.
